Timo

Timo (he/they)

Timo was born and raised in Vienna (technically Korneuburg, but he likes to keep it simple). In 2019, he moved to London to study at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where he earned his BA in Performance (Musical Theatre). Since graduating in 2022, he has performed in theatres across the UK. Highlights include playing King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar and being part of the original cast of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, which transfers to the West End in 2026.

On screen, Timo appears in Body Farm (2026 release) and is currently filming an exciting new BFI/Film4 project in London.

In addition to performing, Timo has worked on the creative side as a choreographer and movement director, specialising in physicality, presence, and storytelling through movement. His teaching is shaped by the tools and techniques passed down from his own mentors, as well as his professional experience in auditions, rehearsals, and on stage.

Timo believes the best work comes from a safe, respectful environment—one that balances hard work with curiosity and joy. He encourages his students to explore material that excites them, pushes their craft, and shows them at their very best. Or, in his words: “If you’re having fun, they’re having fun!”
